This was my daughter’s first year at camp. It was a wonderful summer. We look forward to many more Ivy League summers. One thing that I am most impressed with is that my daughter is 100% more comfortable in the water. She is swimming all over with just a round tube and will swim under the water as well. Thank you everyone for a great camp experience.

Heidi G. – Parent of 3-year-old girl (M, W, F)

Thank you so much for such a wonderful summer. My kids wanted to go to camp everyday and they ran to their buses with smiles that anticipated that day’s activities. I had a great summer because I was able to relax knowing that they were in loving, nurturing and responsible hands. Thanks again to you all and we look forward to seeing you all next year. P.S. – There’s only one problem; they can’t wait to go to camp and they wake up way to early! Also, they found out it was their last week and were so upset that Daddy had to enroll them for another week! P.S.S. – Your staff is beyond phenomenal. Friendly, courteous & very understanding!

Ana & Russ D. – Parents of 3rd grade girl and 1st grade boy

Ivy League has been a great experience for my son for the past 5 years. We’re only sorry that the season isn’t longer.

Lisa F. – Parent of 6th grade boy

Thank you for another great summer! Jeremy and Jamie had a blast. Jeremy enjoyed the Grad program very much and I was very impressed with the trips and staff. Mike B. is a wonderful counselor and Jeremy really liked having him for his counselor again. We hope he comes back next year! Jamie loved being in the middle group this year and has made some nice friends. If possible can I get a list of the girls from her group (Barnard) so she can keep in touch with them??

Wendy R. – Parent of 2nd grade girl & 6th grade boy

My son absolutely adores camp, and I am so thrilled with his experience at Ivy League. Keep up the fantastic work – your dedication really shows.

Allana E. – Parent of Kindergarten boy

The camp office and Directors are wonderful. They never make me feel like I’m interrupting their busy day when I call. They make me feel like my kids are the most important ones at camp! My children’s Group Leader is just the best! She knows exactly what’s going on with every kid. I feel like my kids are safe on the bus which is one of the most important things. The bus is always on time and we’ve had the same driver for 3 years. She’s gotten to know the kids and us and we think she’s great. The swim program is first rate. We never worry about the kids in the water at camp. In our opinion, these are the most important aspects to a summer camp. We expect these to be top notch and they are. So don’t change a thing except to get even better. Thanks for exhausting the kids each day in the possible way.

Joy & Richard H. – Parents of 1st grade boy and 3 year old boy (M,W,F)

As usual we are thrilled with everything at Ivy League. Our kids are 6 and every time we go some place to swim, people are always asking us when we started putting our children in a special swim school because they swim so well. Our response…”It wasn’t a special swim school, we put them in Ivy League Day Camp.” That’s where they acquired their swimming skills. Your swim staff from top to bottom has been the best!! Thanks for everything they have done with our children over the past 4 years.

Traci & Brian M. – Parents of 1st grade girl and boy twins

My daughter had a terrific time in your camp. She came home every day with a huge smile and great memories. We are very pleased with the diverse experiences. She has gained interest in many new activities. She loved tennis and magic. She mastered the rock-climbing wall and zip line! We are so proud of her and we have your camp to thank for giving her the encouragement and opportunity. We will see you next year.

Thank you,
Nancy F. – Parent of 3rd grade girl

Our boys love camp! They can’t wait until the bus picks them up in the morning. Thanks to all of you for providing them with a fun, secure & caring environment. The staff is wonderful!

Donna & Philip M. – Parent of 4 year old twin boys (M,W,F)

I’m very pleased with the program for the little ones. I like that there are a lot of indoor activities for them. I also like that the schedule varies each day. May daughter is having a great time and looks forward to going to camp everyday!

Felicia S. – Parent of 3 year old girl (M,W,F)

This is our daughter’s 1st camp experience & it has been wonderful. Our son can not wait to go and play with his friends each day and he just can’t seem to get enough of all the different activities, especially Bumper boats. Just another note, he likes your food better than mine, especially your baked ziti.

Barbara & Richard M. – Parent of Kindergarten boy

Thank you for making our sons first camp experience a positive one. Benjamin had a wonderful time in camp and looked forward to going there every week!!! We only wish we had added more days, as we know that he would have enjoyed it. As his first summer camp came to a close, Benjamin was sad to leave his friends and counselors. He keeps talking about going back next week to camp, we don’t know how to tell him that its over!! Thanks again for being the warm, welcoming staff that you are.

Marni and Alex G. – Parent of 3 year old boy (T,TH) Preppy

A great big THANK YOU to all – there are so many of you who make this place tick like a perfect clock we could not begin to thank each individually or even remember every name! From Ron, Sandy, Evan & Jonathan, Claudia Vicki, Joanne at the desk, all of the group leaders, the nurse, the ice pop lady, the bus people, the lifeguards, swim instructors, the chef to each & every one of you who helped make this summer a great experience for our 3 chilkdren!

See you next year!

Letter from former Ivy League Camper
I haven't been back to Ivy League in what I think is 7 summers; however, tonight I had this urge to finally thank those who made my summers there the most amazing summers of my life.

I spent, (I think) 7 summers at Ivy League (maybe 8) from Mini Day through Upper Division. And in those summers, I learned some of the most rewarding lessons one could possibly learn. I made my friends, and I found a home; a place I could always remember, and more importantly, the people I would always remember.

Yet I moved to Florida the summer that I would have entered Undergrads (currently Grads). Because it was my nature to go to camp, I attended the local Jewish Community Center's camp, where I have been both a camper and worked since then. Yet the JCC had not given to me all that Ivy League did.

You see, I knew when I left Ivy League would be the place I missed the most. Yet, I truly didn’t appreciate Ivy League until I became a counselor at my new camp, and all I could think to do was provide the kind of summer for my campers as everyone at Ivy League provided for me. While I had counselors come and go here, at Ivy League, I remember each of their names, each of their faces. I remember each of the Color Wars, and activities, the Big Field, the dance pavilion, rainy day schedules, carnival, playing tetherball, and simply having a good time. And I cherish those video yearbooks, and even still wear my 5-year sweatshirt. (In fact, I still have that seat thing that was given out. I think it was to put on a seat at a baseball game?).

I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you. Thank you for bringing out in me a sense of leadership, and friendship, and a want, in fact, a need to make a child's summer the most memorable it could possibly be. Thank you for the summers and the memories. The song we were taught, "I remember great days of summer at Ivy League, I believe in Ivy League Action, and Big League Fun," I not only still remember it, I now understand it."

Thanks,
Jenna C, Former Ivy League Camper

"What seems like a life time ago, I entrusted Ivy League with my 3 1/2 year old twins. We live about 35 minutes from the Camp. We looked at many camps closer but we were convinced that our girls would excel at Ivy League. The Camp could not be more accommodating !! We signed our girls up for a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Putting our precious cargo on the bus their first day took our breathe away. We were excited to see them come off the bus at 5 o'clock with the biggest smiles on their faces. they had such a good time. Bedtime was a charm too!!! I might add that the three day camp schedule did not last long....it was five days or nothing!

Their younger sister shortly join them at Ivy League and 8 years later it is all they talk about with their friends at school. They tell their friends that "nothing tops my summer at Ivy League". They look anxiously every November to see their memories on the DVD that Ivy League sends them. All my friends and co-workers know about every achievement and experience they encountered at Camp. Besides showing off my kids on the DVD, I also show them the daily photos posted to the website.

Our twins are now entering a new phase at Camp. They will now experience an over night trip....here we go again holding our breath!! This time we will hold our breath only for a split second because we know that they are in excellent hands. Their younger sister is jealous of the trip but she will join them next year. Our girls are already talking about being counselors. At age 11, they are already maintaining friends through out the school year.
They are counting the days down to JUNE 25TH !

We truly believe that their experience at Ivy League have molded them into the well adjusted, social children that they are.

Thank you for being such a wonderful memory of their childhood!
Barbera R."
